How we handle the information you give us through this website.
What we collect
We only collect what you type in, and only when you choose to send it:
- Order requests — your name, phone number, email, delivery address (delivery orders only), the items you selected and any notes for the kitchen.
- Banquet hall bookings — your name, phone number, email, event type, requested date, time, duration, guest count and any details you add.
- Contact and catering enquiries — your name, phone number, email and message.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
What stays in your browser
Your in-progress food order is saved in your own browser's local storage so that it survives a refresh. It never leaves your device until you send the order, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Whether you chose the dark or the light version of the site is kept the same way. Both are stored on your device only — neither is sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
How we use it
To confirm and fulfil your order, hold and confirm your event date, answer your enquiry, and contact you about the arrangement you asked us about. That is all.
Third parties
Some things on this site are provided by others, and their own policies apply when you use them:
- Clover, DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub — if you follow those links, you place and pay for that order on their platform, not ours.
- Google Maps — the embedded map on the contact page is served by Google.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the site are loaded from Google's font service.
Payments
No card details are collected or stored by this website. Payment happens in person, over the phone, or on a third-party checkout that handles its own card security.
How long we keep it
Order and booking correspondence is kept for as long as we need it for the booking, our accounting records and any follow-up you would reasonably expect. Ask us and we will delete what we are not required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Write to Team@TajBanquet.com or call (630) 808-1832.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page. Material changes will be noted at the top.
